General Information on Data Processing

Scope of Processing

We process personal data of our users only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website as well as our content and services. The processing of personal data of our users generally takes place only with the user's consent. An exception applies in cases where obtaining prior consent is not possible for practical reasons and the processing of the data is permitted by legal regulations.

Legal Basis

If we obtain the consent of the data subject for processing operations involving personal data, Article 6(1)(a) of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) serves as the legal basis.

If the processing of personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party, Article 6(1)(b) GDPR serves as the legal basis. This also applies to processing operations necessary for carrying out pre-contractual measures.

If the processing of personal data is required to fulfill a legal obligation to which our company is subject, Article 6(1)(c) GDPR serves as the legal basis.

If processing is necessary to safeguard a legitimate interest of our company or a third party and the interests, fundamental rights, and freedoms of the data subject do not override the first-mentioned interest, Article 6(1)(f) GDPR serves as the legal basis for processing.

Data Deletion and Storage Duration

The personal data of the affected person will be deleted or blocked as soon as the purpose of storage no longer applies. Storage may also continue if required by European or national legislation in Union regulations, laws, or other provisions to which the controller is subject. Data will also be blocked or deleted when a legally prescribed retention period expires, unless further storage is necessary for the conclusion or fulfillment of a contract.

Script libraries, Google Web Fonts

To display our content correctly and attractively across different browsers, we use script libraries and font libraries on this website, such as Google Web Fonts (www.google.com/webfonts/). Google Web Fonts are transferred to your browser's cache to prevent multiple loads. If the browser does not support Google Web Fonts or blocks access, the content will be displayed in a standard font. Calling script or font libraries automatically establishes a connection to the library operator. In theory, it is possible—although currently unclear if and for what purposes—that the operators of such libraries may collect data. You can find Google's privacy policy here: www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Encryption

This page uses SSL encryption for security reasons and to protect the transmission of all content.
You can recognize an encrypted connection by the fact that the browser's address bar changes from "http://" to "https://" and by the lock symbol in your browser bar.
